Opinion

From Library Staff

This is a classic! In Ehlert's signature paper-cut style, this picture story not only introduces young readers to an array of bulbs and flowers, but also the rainbow of colors they come in.

This is my go to storytime read aloud for garden and flower books. Simple text and bright beautiful illustrations keep kids engaged. For children who enjoy taking their time with the pictures, all the bulbs, seeds, and flowers are labeled.

A garden has many different flowers of various colors planted in it. Children will enjoy seeing the rainbow the colors form with Ehlert's bright pictures.
