Long in the works, this band bio will carry an epilog on Jerry Garcia's death.

Add a CommentDefinitely a lively read! The tone and style is fairly unsophisticated, often reduced to an adolescent coarseness where every third word is the 'F'
expletive! In spite of this, and despite Rock Scully's clumsy attempts to correct the historical record to his betterment, Dead Heads will revel in this account and find much to recognize. There is a wise honesty to much of the telling, and Garcia's physical decline is presented in excruciating detail. Still, the book is replete with humorous anecdotes and it's hard to put down.
A worthwhile addition to the still incomplete body of work detailing the Dead's history.
Probably one of the funniest book I have ever read.
