Using only a suggestion of dialogue and tinted black and white film, this film tells the story of young apprentice and daydreamer Anton, who lives and works in an ancient and crumbling bathhouse in a fictional European city. His evil brother Gregor, plots to tear down the bathhouse to make way for a real estate development, and then the beautiful Eva enters their world.

This is a 1999 experimental movie directed by Veit Helmer.
The style evokes early 20th Century Silent movies and motifs commonly found in German expressionism.
The sparse dialog is presented in a mix of European languages.
It is quite hard for me to make sense of this movie.
After all it appears like a fantasy in an asylum for the mentally ill.

Wow, this one's a little different. The character's cast over personify they're roles and add a demension to the film while the format/style do as well. It kind of reminded me of a Chaplan or Keystone Cops type format and at times exchange just less frantic and sped up or hurried.
