Corpse Bride

Victor has messed up his vows during a wedding rehearsal, and is traveling through the woods, reciting his vows. He stops to rest in the woods, and while practicing. He finally gets them right and ceremoniously puts the wedding ring on a finger-shaped stick in the ground and says his wedding vows. The stick turns out to be a rotted finger belonging to a murdered girl who has returned as a zombie and insists that she is now Victor's lawfully wedded wife.

Corpse Bride is a movie about a man named Victor who is arranged to marry into a rich family who have a daughter named Victoria. Victor seems to like Victoria and is worried about messing up his vows and so he decides to go practice them. Sadly, the spot he was practicing in was the burial place of a girl who died before getting married. Things go wrong from there, and Victor is now engaged to a dead person. Corpse Bride was funny and some moments were heartwarming. I really enjoyed this film and would recommend it. I enjoyed seeing the characters grow and see how the relationships change throughout the film. I would rate this movie 4.5/5.

I had never taken the time to sit down and thoroughly watch this movie until now. What a lovely tale it was. An amazingly complex but simple story of open heartedness overcoming greed and selfishness.
I think I have to say this is my favorite Tim Burton movie. The colors are fun, the songs are great, and the story is really sweet.
A halloween movie I've watched almost every halloween, It has beautifully creepy claymation art. The story is fun and spooky.
This is soo depressing and "goffik", but paranormically funny. The love story and triangle is interesting, the characters are amazing, it is so damn good, thank you Mr. Burton for the masterpiece!
