A beautifully crafted story on how tragedy can destroy innocence. In a world where even good intentions can go astray, pain and anguish are irreversible symptoms. Sympathy is one of those very few movies where the line that separates the innocent from the evil is blurred, and you will feel that in this movie the heroes are not only the victims, but they are the villains as well. Do not expect big explosions, excessive gore or stylized fighting, but enjoy every scene that is played out flawlessly.

I like "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" the most among all 3 of Vengeance trilogy

The first movie in the Vengeance trilogy is the best of the 3 (yes better than that crappy OldBoy). There isn't gore but the story and the occurances are emotionally very draining and leaves or minds reeling; how do we view ordinary, simple people who ended up in this terrible circumstance? who is the victim and who is the oppressor and how far can one go to avenge what's been done to them? A Tragic movie filled with wonderful performances that will haunt you.
