Steal This Book
Book - 2002
In 1970, Abbie Hoffman conceived the idea for his most ambitious book project yet. He had begun criss-crossing the country, ferreting out alternative ways of getting along in America -- some illegal, but most of them having to do with survival techniques. Steal This Book captures the spirit of those years, describing actions and techniques that were already in use in all 50 states.

Add a CommentThe title should be called How to Steal Everything from Anyone and Everyone. A 70's guide on how to steal everything from food to furniture. Stick it to the man. Whether it be the little grocery store owner trying to make a buck to keep his family alive to the corporate giant trying to turn a profit for their shareholders, this book is nothing but how to go through life and be accountable to no one and take everything from everyone. I would not recommend this book to anyone unless you want to be a non-contributory member of society. With very outdated methods on stealing to hitchhiking. 0/5 Stars
