i enjoy reading her blog, and i've modified some of her recipes from there. However, seeing so many mentions of egg substitutes, sugar substitutes and other products that i didn't even know existed was rather.. overwhelming. there are other cookbooks out there that don't rely as heavily on substitutions but still emphasize healthy eating habits/choices. the 'Eat Shrink and be merry' book comes to mind.
