Truly a revolution (revelation?) in weight management. Not a diet, not really psychological, it focuses on how our instinctive minds overrule our logical minds when it comes to weight control and how to reprogram that part of our minds. Personally, I had one of those 'epiphany' moments - saw the error in my thinking and adjusted. I've lost 6 lbs. in 3 weeks from just reading the book - and that includes an indulgent Thanksgiving day feast and a leftovers day feast! This is powerful stuff!

The essence of this book is that you will not be successful at losing weight unless you can convince your subconscious that being thin is safer than being fat. As long as your subconscious equates security with being fat, it will sabotage all of your efforts to lose weights, including, but not limited to, influencing your metabolic rate. There are many reasons why you may subconsciously believe that it safer to be fat, and Gabriel tries to address as many as he can, with strategies to circumvent those reasons. Once you can align your subconscious with your conscious, Gabriel states that it becomes easy to lose weight.
