This is a very realistic depiction of a story that captures all the feelings of making a game-changing decision for ones life. I was on the edge of my seat and want a Part 2.

This was an extremely violent movie.

This movie is incredible. Those who think that we should keep Latin American immigrants out should see this film, maybe it will open their eyes!

Wow! What a powerful movie. If I could give out awards, it would be my top award. Well acted and story executed like a delicate fine surgery. The tension is kept throughout, at one point I had to stop and take a break. I wanted so desperately for the main characters to make it across the boarder. If you ever wondered about what it is like to belong to a gang out side of what the media tells us, this is a movie that will give you a peek in; believe me, you don't want to go any further.Whether you agree or not that immigrants should enter this country legally or otherwise, this movie gives you a new respect for the journey. Not for children, and anyone who lets their child watch this is a fool. If you are looking for a tension gripper, this is your film.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well done this movie was. Held my interest throughout the movie, covering topics such as gang culture in Mexico, poverty and the challenges of immigrating to the United States. Caution-Some graphic violence.

This is a good movie. There are some parts of the story that throw me a bit, but most people will not be as critical as me. The ability of the director to shoot this on site was impressive and must have been full of complications. I liked the actors, their acting and the writing was good too. Gringos will love this film.

The fascinating look at the gang culture
overwhelms the feelgood story about redemption. You hope even the most hardened Minuteman would agree , if you survive this gauntlet of violence and hardship then you've earned entry.

Extremely graphic and terrifyingly real I suspect. Although difficult to watch it's important to recognize what goes on and the things we do not hear about often enough.

In a road heading to Texas, I saw a factory where they build them. There was a letter board, very big, with the world shape... and it was shiny, so beautiful. I wanted to get on it.
-When I go through there, I will see it and it will remind me of you.
In Tegus I went with my friend Clarissa, to my neighbor's house... a crazy old lady called Leonor... she was a witch. She told me with scared voice,
you will make it to the U.S... but not holding god's hand, but holding the devil's spawn. if you come with us, you can show me the letter board you are talking about...
They are coming for you right?
-I think so, sooner or later they will find me... the gang has good memory.

Are you afraid?
-To be killed? No, I live by the day. What worries me is not knowing what time and which day they will kill me.
Are you afraid?
-No, if I am with you I am ok.
The opposite, while you are with me you are not ok.
-I don't care, I trust you.
