What an adorable book! The writing is beautiful, and has lovely pictures. My 2 year old loves it and can relate to how a little girl experienced the world as a little baby. I will be reading more from this author.

Very cute story about a girl named Stella. We enjoy reading this book during bedtimes. Imaginative story scenes and lovely illustrations

The kindergartens at Vimy Ridge made text to self connections with the main character.

Mrs. Fong's afternoon class read "When Stella was Very, Very Small". Stella thought her backyard was a jungle. She thought that her neighbour's cat was a ferocious, man-eating tiger. Most of us liked this story very much.

Cute. Introduces children to "changing perceptions".
