Bill Django: Mother Earth, you're my life support system. As a soldier I must drink your blue water, live inside your red clay and eat your green skin. Help me to balance myself. As you hold in balance, the Earth, the sea, and the space environments. Help me to open my heart, knowing that the Universe will feed me. I pray my boots will always kiss your face, and my footsteps match your heartbeat. Carry my body through space and time. You're my connection to the Universe and all that comes after. I'm yours and you are mine. I salute you.

Meh. I was expecting a funnier movie and more time spent on the real MK Ultra. Kind of a waste of talent. Jeff Bridges spent his time not being the Dude.
Also, Kevin Spacey alert. I've been boycotting his stuff and didn't realize he was in the movie.
O stars. Pointless movie, not funny, not engaging just very boring. One of the worst movies I have ever seen.
💖 great
I was bored with this one.
I enjoyed this movie a while ago, Clooney is very good in comic roles.
And I want to tell people who found the script weird and crazy - read the non-fiction book by Jon Ronson the movie was based on. Non-fiction!!! The craziest things in the movie were REAL, Americans actually did try to do those things. Sure in the movie they made things sound lighter and more entertaining.
I usually don't watch such movies with shootings, war etc. The only reason I watched it because I liked the book. OPL has the book.
An ironic spoof on military burocracy. Could have been smoother. Didn't like the ending. Would have liked to know what happened to the two guys who took off in the helicopter. Have seen been ironic comedy such as Dr Strangelove.

Not that this was a bad movie. It's just that the Wilmot copy is bad and one cannot see the last 1/2hour. I never got to see them actually stare at a goat. Dang!
I enjoyed this movie because I was in the mood for something completely weird.
