A female Apache war shaman? Male Apache war shaman? The last Apache war or raid ended in 1883, or so. The premise is as absurd as all the Cherokee Princesses every tom dick and harry used to have for ancestors. Probably there are as many Cherokee Princesses as Apache war shamans, though. Anyway, this is a truly lousy way to waste paper and ink. The fact the author didn't bother to learn anything about the Mescalero, the Chiracaua, the Mimbres Apache is only the beginning of why this book is a waste.
I found the beginning of this book extremely hard to get into. It was very chaotic and didn't seem to have much of a story line.
End of Days seemed to be trying to be too many things.
I did not finish it but went on to other books instead.
I gave up at page 117. A 700-page book should tell an epic story, not be an excuse for lousy pacing and a meandering plot line. Who edited this?
Still cannot get over the horrible layout of this book. Some parts of it made me wonder if there was symbolism I wasnt understanding or the author was under the influence while writing it. Stopped at page 75 and wish i had earlier.
tony is right closed it page 31.. you ever sit on a bus on a hot day and a drinker walks by...well those hajj pilgrims have no sence of smell....not.... don't waste your time
