Still one of my favorite romantic-comedies, and one of the few that the men in my life have enjoyed as much as the women. A middle-aged man in a crumbling marriage meets a young, professional ladies-man, and hilarity and drama ensue. This movie is goofy fun, and hits the spot when I just need a good laugh and a real-world-but-not-too-heavy love story.

ok, first half was slow but some good dialogue, second half some funny situations (like backyard), a little unbelievable and mysoginistic?

Never watched the movie. The cover looks terrible. One look at it makes it look like a porn movie.

A passable comedy/romance story. Didn't interest me at all. Even me being a fan of Julianne Moore didn't help. Yawn.....

Sweet idea and this 2011 film grew on me, but the best scene, and Gosling plays it brilliantly, was better the first time in Francis Veber 's 2006 farce "The Valet."

Rom-com and chick flick with enough humor that it's not too cheesy. I thought the ending was cute. LOVE Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling!

Fun, sexy and sweet. I'm a sucker for mid-life love, flawed people and happy endings. Also? Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling have one of the best on-screen kisses, ever. Yeowza!

The movie wasn't bad. Nothing too heavy, about a married guy who wants to win back his wife and the self-assured ladies' man who befriends and guides him. There are some tired movie cliches and you have to suspend reality. The movie was okay, but Steve Carrell's roles need to diversify so he doesn't become this generations' sad sack good guy Matthew Broderick. His hair kept getting darker and darker. Marisa Tomei is a good character actress and lifted the film. Everyone is white, beautiful, and straight.

An enjoyable, lighthearted movie. Great for when you just need to kick back for a few hours.

Cal Weaver: "You know a word that is not used very often anymore? Cuckold. I'm cuckolded. David Lindhagen cuckolded me. He made a cuckold out of me. He slept with my wife and I didn't know about it! And that is the definition of cuckoldom. David Lindhagen took my wife and slept with her. Uuch! Thought I did everything right. Got married, had kids, the house. What do I get for it? I get cuckolded? DAVID LINDHAGEN CUCKOLDED ME, HE MADE A CUCKOLD OUT OF ME."
