This volume is a collection of three stories centred around the villain Ra's al Ghul and his daughter Talia. The first two are rather cheesy and unexciting, but the trilogy ends on a high note with a very excellent story by Dennis O'Neil.

This is a must read for Batman fans wanting to knwo more about Ra's al Ghul, Batman's history with Talia, and as a prequel to Grant Morrison's run on the character
