sci-fi mystery and intrigue with below and above average episodes. The ending was the best in the series and set up its 2nd season superly.

This is a very good sci fi action/investigation show. Plays out similar to a low-powered version of X-Men. The autistic kid was the highlight for me. His banter with the other members of the team, particularly Bill, made the show better than it would have been otherwise. Good concept. Much room for growth. I am looking forward to watching season 2.

A psychiatrist leads a group of individuals with special abililties (alphas) to investigate various crimes and strange events in season one of Alphas. The alpha team members each have special mental or physical abilities that make them useful in investigations for the Department of Defense. The alpha team members must learn to work together which at times can be difficult because of their unique skills and personalities. Typically the alpha team investigates other alphas and they discover that there is a network of "red flag alphas" with their own agenda.
