Add a CommentThis is not a bad album, HOWEVER, it is not nearly as good as Calvin's previous 2 albums 'Ready for the Weekend' and 'I Created Disco'.
Those I would strongly recommend, unfortunately, they are not available through the library, but worth a listen!
Back to 18 Months, this album pulls away from electronic roots I loved to a more mainstream electropop, to my disappointment. However, there were a few standout tracks.
For me 'We'll be Coming Back', 'I Need Your Love' and 'Thinking About You' are pretty good.
I would give this either a solid 3 or weak 3 1/2 out of 5

I recognized several of the songs from the radio. Others sounded like freakouts on the key-tar.
Anything with Florence Welch in it, (besides the "Sweet Nothing" music video) Is the bomb dot com!
