Beautifully written. Interesting story line ... what it might be like to not know who you are, what kind of person you are, who are the people important to you ... and to be able to completely reconstruct your life, if you want to. Great job. I am interested to read more from this author.

An engaging read. The fact that as the main character became more traditionally feminine, she became more "herself" and lovable was a tad irksome. Otherwise, a page-turner ... worth a read.

I wish I had not read this Love Water Memory so soon after reading What Alice Forgot. The books have such a similar plot with so many parallels. I am not sure which came first but I think I this book a little better.

Woman finds herself standing in San Francisco Bay, a victim of amnesia. Her fiance finds her and they work together through horrific childhood memories to try to begin a new life.

I liked the way the writer walked the reader through post traumatic life. I could really relate to how one moment in your life could change everything and that the healing comes long after and hard.

I didn't like the love story as much. I would have liked to see less insecurity and more recognition that what she saw was was she got.

This novel starts out with a great hook and keeps you focused throughout. There are really no side plots or any distractions that take your attention away from the journey to a whole happy new life. This is not a dark story, although it could easily have been. At times I thought it needed more depth but as written it was satisfying. It is a hopeful tale that ends well, and all the hints are there for a good ending at about the halfway point. A good vacation read.

The writing is so good I feel and see this story...I'm transported there! Love Water Memory takes an everyday, realistic, rocky love story but adds the twist with a psychological break. The main character, Lucie Walker, has the opportunity to find who she'd be w/o the trauma of her life and become her true self.
