Alien, bizarre, and strangely mesmerizing.

Good concept. Loss momentum as the series progressed when it began to head down the path of guy gathering an army to fight the bad guys. Had all the promise of a new before that. Art also good.

Great art work, good story. Much more interesting then another version of some caped hero. And I find it interesting that some much stuff is organic. Traveling though space on an organic space craft. Nice.

great story (or stories) with imaginitive artwork in a series that gets better as it goes.

Its all about the simplistic individual bits, slowly opening to a bigger world without losing sight of those bits. I love the Meta styles and scope, and with this content as set up... I really like where this could be going.

Visceral is the word to describe this book by author and artist Brandon Graham. (John) Prophet is a gut wrenching saga of our human race on the brink of either complete extinction or glorious resurgence. The story telling style is fragmented and quick. Simon's art style hums with a palette of colours which shifts from location to location, accomplishing what most comic book artists fail at: making each page a thematic work in itself. I love Graham's art style but felt it did not fit with the overall feel of Prophet. Were he to stick to Multiple Warheads and continue writing wicked stories like this, I would be a happy little fanboi!
