If you're expecting stellar, Oscar-worthy performances and engrossing dialogue from this Bruce Lee double feature, then, forget it, real fast._____ But, if you're in the mood for some really wild, comic-book-style fight scenes where the body count just keeps going higher and higher, then The Big Boss and Fist Of Fury (both from the early 1970s) are your front-row seat to 2 of the best Bruce Lee, martial arts pictures of all-time._____ These 2 revenge/justice movies are deadly good fun that can't be beat. Yes. In between the wonderfully choreographed battle scenes things do often lapse into a state of total feebleness - But, once our tiny, muscled, screeching hero, Bruce Lee (with his perfect coordination) picks up his heels and commences to kick some serious ass, then it all becomes a literal frenzied roller-coaster ride of grunting, groaning, snapping, leaping, screaming bodies flying this way and that._____ So, if you're a real gung-ho Kung Fu fighting fan, then I think that you owe it to yourself to watch the ultimate master of this specialized art, Bruce Lee, as he goes through his precisioned paces in these 2 films that started the whole martial arts movie-craze over 40 years ago._____ It's "chop-socky" good!
