VERY GOOD 1938 musical drama featuring three Lane Sisters family of American singers and actresses, first time I've seen them in a film - fun viewing.
The film's family drama (including their tough music professor father, and the variety of sister relationships) as the girls mature and get romantic, etc. is intriguing in this high quality film with fine cinematic production of story written by Fannie Hurst.

Wow!....and so much more. The director was certainly just that. At first i thought Garfield was miscast for the part, but soon realized he was perfect for the role of family outsider.
