At 600KM above planet Earth the temperature fluctuates between +258 and -148 degrees Fahrenheit. There is nothing to carry sound. No air pressure. No oxygen. Life in space is impossible.
"Matt, do you have visual on just what Mission Specialist Shariff is doing up there?" "He appears to be doing some form of the Macarena. That would be just a best guess scenario on my part."

Comment
Add a Commentnot must watch, want to know more about space or international space station don't watch it. Good Fiction film with total 2 person on it.
🚀 Well realized, but a reworking of the story from 1954, "The Cold Equations," by Tom Godwin, which has been widely reprinted and anthologized. The self-sacrificing Grand Gesture schlock has been used in too many movies.
SWEARING... Only heard Sandra say 3 - four letter S words and 1 - four letter F word .
From this video and on I will be indicating how much swearing content is in each video at the start of each comment.
Not as bad as I thought it would be. They basically are trying to survive a catastrophic failure. One thing happens after another - on the edge of your seat type of a movie. I have seen better . And I have seen much worse. Only heard Sandra say 3 - four letter S words and 1 - four letter F word .
I would watch the short film in the Special Features. And watch the intro to the short film as well.
It helps if you understand what its like to be an astronaut. Then you would like the movie better.
Definitely had me wondering, surprising twist
Boooo.... Hissss!
So very glad I did not pay to see this film. Very disappointing. I was unable to take it seriously as the premise was so unbelievable, the foreshadowing so heavy handed the dialogue so incredibly inane. I did not for one minute believe any of the activities or situations were likely. Truly a fearmongering view of life in space. As someone else mentioned, impossible to "suspend your disbelief." The whole reason we view films!!
If you're a fan of scientific absurdities and heavy breathing -- the hallmark and high point of Bullock's acting in this film -- you'll like "Gravity." If you like sci-fi films that aren't an insult to your intelligence, you won't.
This drama/science fiction film shows Dr. Stone, who is an engineer on her first mission in space. While doing a normal space walk, disaster strikes and their shuttle is completely destroyed. She is left alone floating in space unsure of what to do next in order to survive. Sandra Bullock has an amazing performance in this film as she essentially is working alone, and makes it very believable that she is really floating away in space. The movie is full of suspense and thrill as you wonder whether or not she will make it. I would rate this movie 4.5/5 stars and recommend it to anyone interested in space. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
The concept is absolutely silly! An astronaut who can't handle space? Doesn't even like it? Worse yet, she's incapable of making ONE right decision this entire movie. It's very unrealistic and plays upon the edge of your seat rather than reason! I wouldn't recommend this movie, you have plenty of other decent and better ones than this. Hell, even "Alien" is more realistic than this.
Very entertaining kept me at the edge of my seat worth watching a good movie about space.
