Enjoyed the challenge to innovation and then accomplishment format. Succinct and readable. Pg 195 has a typo wa instead of ways and there is a though rather than thought somewhere I missed the page. I love puzzles and couldn't help but wonder if ys was the beginning of a problem to the t and what is between is the operation? I mean, typos can be fun right?

I had high hopes for this book, but it does not achieve orbit. If you're a space nut, please read and enjoy it for that. If you are a business type and expect to learn anything applicable, forget it. Each chapter narrates a different mission, not in chronological order and not the usual highlights reel. The book is worth reading for that alone if you are a space buff. However, the innovation “lessons” throughout the book are almost pointless. Fortunately, they are separate from the main text and easily skipped. Other minor complaints include a sentimental streak, some passing ageism, and occasional copy editing mistakes.
