Charming story, based on a young boy's experiences, and showing his pastor Dad's problems dealing with the resultant publicity. Dad nearly lost his church!

You know what? I really believe in a city that floats in space where angels come and go. God or Jesus is one, so is everyone one that is. One mindset, one goal, one purpose, one teacher, one angel and that is you. Have you ever wondered created in his image really means? We the angels and I is one, we are taught just why we are in Heaven, the real reason that is. Why the Scriptures and the people called Jesus the teacher. In Heaven that is all He does, one or two or maybe three at a time. School is in section and you learn how to be like the creator of everything, but one day, you will be the one, the only one. God is a different species than we angels, or we humans. I see angels no higher than humans, only God is higher, way higher than everything, he is not of this Universe period. But you can be of his Universe in the seventh dimension where he resides. My residence in the city of lights is right next door to the Holy One, the teacher. But first you must graduate from this school where God is your personal teacher, Good Luck! Me, myself, and I try the best I can, but so does everyone in this school. Its easy, no sweat, just pay attention!!! There are no questions, just answers.

A little boy who can't act, but who is the son of a Christian pastor, believes he has died, gone to heaven, and seen -- no, not Mohammed, not the Buddha, not Cybele or Lakshmi -- but Jesus. Good heavens! How could this possibly have happened? Well, not very convincingly or factually is the short answer, but the good news is his father made a holy mountain of dough from his book about the incident. This movie is a cut above the usual religious film fare, and overall, the production is decent. Unfortunately, it contains all the usual cliches, including Sad Atheists -- something unpleasant happened in their lives, and that is the only reason why now they don't believe. And they want to! They're not bad, they're sad!

I enjoyed this film which is based on a true story. Greg Kinnear was quite good as the Dad and the actor who played Colton portrayed him in a very endearing way! If you want to watch an uplifting film about a Christian family then this might a good film for you!

This is what it is like when something superficial tries to look profound.

If you loved the book this movie is based on, you will love this movie. The actors were wonderful, Greg Kinnear plays the dad, and the little guy who played Colton spot on. You see photos of the real Colton and his family in the end credits.

The film tells about a true story. A boy who is son of a pastor is almost going to die because of a damage disease. People pray for him and he recover. Then, he say he went to heaven, met Jesus and his angles. Aslo he saw some people whom he have never met before. His stories make stronger people's religious faith.

Better than it might have been with lesser actors. Most Christians will find this movie entertaining and somewhat provocative. Everyone else should steer clear or else keep their snide comments to themselves.

“Haven't we already seen heaven? In the first cry of a baby, in the courage of a friend. Is heaven for real? All of you have asked yourselves that question. My answer is yes. I see it, so I believe it.”
