I surely enjoy Tangerine Dream a great deal. Much of their early work (1970- 1973) has a special place in my heart. As with many great musicians, time and age can indeed take a toll on crafting a great piece of music, so with the dawning of a new decade and the keyboards becoming a more popular choice during that decades movements, I was a tad bit skeptical with this album.
However, I was pleasantly surprised at how much quality was packed into this album. I looked up the word dissonance to make sure I'm properly defining what I experienced. It is as followed:
"a simultaneous combination of tones conventionally accepted as being in a state of unrest and needing completion."
I truly believe this to accurately describe what's on this record. Highly recommend for those of us that happened to trip and fall into the electronic scene a bit late.
