The most under-rated band you've probably NEVER heard of: Big Wreck. "That Song" alone, is worth the price of admission. Damn near perfect rock song from the opening chords through Ian Thornley's sweet then sonic "scream at the top of my lungs" vocals and a churning back beat supporting a tasty three-guitar symphony. I don't think I ever NOT played "That Song" at least twice when this CD is in the player. Just...perfect. This incarnation met when they were all at Berkeley in Boston. Their "Live at Suhr Party: 2015" YouTube videos capture them at their best...in concert. Ian plays Suhr guitars and the band is in fine form at this show. I've got all their stuff and it's always a win-win deciding which CD will get its turn in the player. Their latest "Grace Street" (2016-17) is another great piece of work. Hard to believe these guys aren't a worldwide phenomenon, but that's everyone else's lose, not mine. Enjoy!
