Wow. Wow! WOW!! This comic book was absolutely fantastic! I have read some of the other My Little Pony comic books available at this library, and they have all been good, but this one takes the cake. I should warn you before reading it that it does contain many references to plot points within the cartoons, which may possibly be a spoiler if you have not seen the right episodes. However! If you do not mind spoilers, I don't think it is too difficult to figure out the bits and pieces that are not explained here. Anyways, the plot was quite deep and thought-out, well enough that I think it could easily be justified to make a movie or multiple-part episode adaptation. We get to see a lot of Princess Celestia's personality, which I feel like is sometimes overlooked in the actual show. And the art is simply breath-taking! At some panels, I really did have to stop just to admire the artwork. ABSOLUTELY recommended!
