My boys loved this book. Great little book on the history of the Ferris Wheel and how pioneering it was in its time. My boys both love science and math so engineering themed books are great. And it read like a story book with great illustrations. My 6 year old loved it as much as my 9 year old.

Very enjoyable read to include history and science. The illustrations really added to the content but also kept the story fun.

Science and art and story all in one kid's book! Heaven!

Very interesting, more than just a storybook. Learned how the ferris wheel came about and the engineer who designed it .... Mr. Ferris ! How appropriate is that in the naming of the famous amusement park ride . Very enjoyable story and has great illustrations .

My son and I both really enjoyed this book. I didn't realize when we first took it out that it wasn't just a story book. It was interesting and allowed me to teach my son about things he didn't know already about. I wouldn't think the book would appeal to the younger children as it's a bit longer than your average book of this type and there is also a series of educational explanations for the subject matter.
