Wonderfull slow meditation on family, culture, our environment and sexuality.

Absolutely gorgeous meditation on the relationships between fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, the small horrors of growing up, the legacy of domestic violence and the courage to try and break the cycle. Using sparse dialogue and breathtaking visuals often bordering on the surreal this film speaks volumes......often with nothing more than light and silence. The final scene of one young man's epiphany while perched on a hilltop between the rising sun and setting moon was one of those rare moments of cinematic perfection.
