I really liked the content of the book but the practice data available for download does not match up and the links to the large database in the book are invalid. In addition, the practice data is scientific bird data. There are complicated words that make it a little harder to learn when you are using unknown words as data and new learning new MySql concepts at the same time.

All in all, I loved working out of the book and would give it 5 stars if the data was available.
