Best vampire film ever? No, but it is really great, and even though the cast are mainly teenagers, this is not aimed at for only love-struck, teenage females like The Twilight Saga series does.
Now, for BEST vampire flick, my vote goes to Vampires (1998), directed and scored by John Carpenter and starring James Woods.

One of my favorite vampire movies EVER. Its a good old films from the 80's with known actors as teens and overall a fun film!

This was one of my favorite movies growing up, and I still love it today. The story is quite good and the acting is decent. I would highly recommend this movie to fans of the vampire genre as well as to fans of great 80's movies. This movie will not leave you feeling disappointed.
