Fun, but dated by today's out-and-proud standards. Lots of Barbra Streisand jokes (all of which are actually funny). Kevin Kline keeps it light and, per usual, dedicates himself fully to his role as a man struggling to find his identity after being forced to take a second look. Joan Cusack's jilted bride is the most interesting character but doesn't get enough screen time. A zippy comedy, but not too deep.
