Add a CommentThis first movie in the series was a great movie. The Wrath of Khan was amazing, but this movie is the kick off of the original Star Trek movies franchise. Kirk and the crew are only middle aged and not old folks yet. As the franchise aged, so did the crew of course. But this movie inspired me as a young person. It inspired my personal interest in technology and space. The plot was worthy of the Star Trek standards. If you haven't seen it, take the time to enjoy this old classic.
I really enjoyed this and the five other Star Trek films that featured the original cast. I thought the story line to be quite intriguing and entertaining. V'Ger's origins made for an interesting plot twist and I liked how Captain Decker ended up where he wanted to be, after all.
