I Loved this book! I really enjoyed trying to solve the puzzles for myself. The plot twists kept it an interesting read until the end.

I loved this book because of all the twists. It was a mystery that kept me guessing to the end. I think it was well written and incorporated some comics very well. I definitely recommend to people who like fiction.

This book started out SO COOL. And then the death of the friend make it take an exciting turn. And then it fell flat and predictable. I will say, I liked that there was no romance of any sort and it was a mystery about friendship. The whole plot was highly unrealistic and quite fantastical for my taste, especially when it started out so interesting and then the conspiracy theory plot threw it in the wrong direction. I wish it had continued being as awesome as it was at the beginning.

* I love the unique format of this mystery/thriller. It's part comic book and part regular novel.

* The Seattle setting is so well drawn that I can practically taste the coffee.

* However, the main character prefers hot chocolate over coffee. I like a girl who knows her own mind and is brave enough to be different.

* I enjoyed the themes of friendship and hope. Although it certainly had its spooky and tense moments, this book is not as dark and gritty as the typical thriller.

Great beginning with an interesting plot. Got kinda bored though, could've had more action.

May loses her best friend in a car accident. Together they had created a comic strip called Princess X. Three years later May is visiting her Dad and notices Princess X stickers around town. Is Libby still alive? I enjoyed solving the mystery through the clues of the webcomic and seeing the comics in the books.

Especially great read for a young adult's novel. I rarely leave commentary, but this book is worth the comment. A wonderful mystery replete with mystery, scattered with comic strips to help solve along the way, and a true, loyal friend to help save the day. With intelligent young girls, a geeky tech guy, some humor and a few interesting spots this book is worth picking up. This isn't your ordinary "princess" fairy tale and the princess(es) within are not your average damsels in distress.

Great read! Highly recommend! Straight up youth appeal with the graphic novel. However it doesn't distract from the story, instead it helps you visualize what's going on. I enjoyed the characters were different without being overdone. For example her friend is bi racial, but its not overly emphasized. The shy girl loses her best friend and grieves for her. Then this mysterious comic appears that hints that her friend may not be dead at all. You don't find out till almost the end whether or not she's really alive. There is some computer hacking but not explained in overly technical language. There is a boy that helps, that (gasp) doesn't turn out to be a love interest. There is a climatic reveal without being cheesy. I was happily surprised that this book lived up to its cover. Unique and satisfying.

May's best friend Libby died in a car accident three years ago - or so she thought. Now, Princess X, a comic book character they invented together, is popping up all over town. Could Libby still be alive? This is an intriguing mystery, and a quick read. The graphic novel/webcomic is a nice touch!
