I really loved this book because it was a huge suspense. I never knew that the bad guys were her best friends from her childhood ! This book was also a huge romance novel because Wyn and Nicky fell in love in the MEEP world. They were the cutest couple.

I really enjoyed reading The Leveller because of the intense plot and romance! In this story, you can play in the MEEP, a virtual world played with your mind, where you can create your own worlds and explore with your brain. However, your body stays in a sleep-like state in the real world. Nixy levels other people, or finds and pulls other people out of the MEEP as a job. But when the developer of the game hires her to find his son, Wyn, who is lost in the MEEP, Nixy discovers a side of the MEEP she has never seen before, with mind games and tricks. I loved reading about MEEP and Nixy's adventures in it. Although I think the book is a bit too fast-paced—Nixy and Wyn know each other for a total of six days and fall in love—Nixy's humorous personality and the creativity of the world of MEEP are amazing!

I actually jumped right into this book like the main character did into people's heads. I am being legitimately serious. It was actually really good even though I just picked it off the shelf because it had a cool cover and slogan. I probably read this in a day or two, which is sometimes really fast for me when I have a lot going on. Science fiction is actually really hitting me right now, I feel as though I should read more sci-fi stuff because it all seems to be some pretty interesting stuff. The adventures in this book are totally worth reading though, with the hints of romance actually sounding legit and not manufactured and fake. 5/5 stars.

Not as complex as "Ready Player One", but also enjoyable. Also not as much jumping between the "real" and "virtual".

Nixy is an unoffical beta tester for her parents for the virtual reality world of the MEEP very well and her friends and her use cheat codes to make money. Nixy has a popular buisness with parents to go into the MEEP and find their kids when they've spent too much time in there. Her work draws attention to her and her parents when the creator of the MEEP hires her to find his son in a world he's created that has stumped and hospitalized his own employees.

This read was interesting but not perfect. I still enjoyed it and I look forward to the sequel.
