Excellent film in all aspects. Great complex story, fantastic acting, depicting the world wide traps and results of broken family, disfunction, violence, abuse, environmental and financial poverty.

A family of brothers caught up in a cycle of violence and crime (inherited by their dads choices) to suppliment their income. Mother is dead, most likely due to the abuse by the father.

There is love, loyalty, frustration, hopes of a better life, all intertwined with the domestic traps of disfunction, violence and poverty. The brothers want to open a store, be independent, have great relationships, but they have no skills or mentors.

The youngest tries to escape by stealing the family savings, and fails when caught by the police.

The themes of gender identity, bisexuality, love, marriage, survival, loyalty, family history, poverty, are all universal and so well done. The acring is amazing.

One feels empathy for all the charachters, they are well rounded, not just "bad" or good, but complex well thought out individuals.

Highly recomend. It could be any family, any race, any culture, in any country facing the same human problems.
