This is a great book! Illustrations, story, and a dad that takes his kid to the library for more books than will fit in the car! Oh- and a hungry monster! What more does a book need?

Simple, colorful illustrations and great dialogue make The Not So Quiet Library a great read-aloud title for kids 4-7. I may not use it for my family story time due to the vocabulary, but older kids will love it!

OHora is becoming one of favourite author-illustrators (I was sold at My Cousin Momo). I am a huge fan of his stories, and lively illustrations!

In this title, a father and his sons take a trip to the library for their weekly Saturday ritual (where they return a carload of books and check out so many more books that they need to tie them to the roof of the car--a family of readers!). On this particular library visit they encounter a five-headed monster who thinks that the library is a restaurant and that all the books taste disgusting...what will they try to eat next?

This book is sure to delight readers and library-lovers alike!

Theodore and Oskar, along with their Dad, head to the library for a quiet day among the books. Their reverie is interrupted by a green, 5-headed monster who wants nothing more than to EAT the books. Theodore and Oskar (who, for some unexplained reason, is a bear) must help the monster understand that books are not for eating but for reading and enjoying.
