This one HAS to be on a seafaring list, it just has to be! Above all else, it is a masterpiece of special effects

Titanic is a movie surrounding our protagonist Rose and her survival and romantic relationship on the infamous ship that sank (the title is rather self-explanatory), the Titanic. This is potentially one of my favourite movies of all time, it’s simply a classic, and the song My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion is not only incredibly well known but also a phenomenal song on a great soundtrack. The casting for this was superbly done, I can’t imagine anyone else being cast and doing a better job than Leonardo DiCaprio or Kate Winslet. The movie is 3 hours long and yet I stayed glued to the screen the entire time. This film will probably bring you to tears, and the romantic storyline is fantastic (coming from someone without an affinity for romance). This is one of the best films ever made (there’s a reason it’s one of the highest grossing movies of all time) and any teen or adult looking for a good movie choice should watch this. Rate 5/5-@LadyCatherinePinkerton of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board

Titanic is another outstanding classic, romantic tragedy that is portrayed in many ways emotionally. When I watched this movie for the first time I was immediately hooked by the characters and the beautiful artistry. It truly is a sight to see while watching the movie. It’s so sad because it's based off true events. The two main characters, Jack and Rose fall madly in love. Rose is of the upper class and Jack is lower class. When the love birds meet on the boat Titanic, there is a major plot twist. Overall, I think it’s a great movie, I'd rate it a 5/5 stars. I recommend ages 13 and up to watch this movie. Make sure to have tissues and be prepared for many tears.

In 1912 the world's most luxurious passenger ship called The Titanic set out across the Atlantic Ocean for New York. The movie (called The a Titanic) is about the real life events that took place along with a love story between two fictional characters. I loved this movie because it's timeless with amazing acting and an incredible storyline. This film is one of the best ever made without a doubt. It is an excellent representation of the historical disaster and will have an emotional affect on everyone who watches it. It has drama, romance and action. The two main actors are Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet who did a fantastic job. I would recommend this movie to anyone ages 10+ and give it a 4.9/5.

This movie is a romantic movie about two lovers on a ship called Titanic. This love story starts when Rose trying to commit suicide on the by standing on the edge of the ship and Jack spot her and tries everything to save her and becomes successful. As time and everything is going good, the ship hits an iceberg and both Jack and Rose have to find each other and run away from Cal but as the Titanic started sinking deeper and deeper it gets harder for them to survive. I would recommend it to older youth and adults because the plot is very interesting and based on a real life event. I would rate this movie 4 out of 5.

Second best love story, after Gone With the Wind.

Directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron in 1997, this docudrama depicts a made-up romance in the disaster.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.
Although visual effects appear great, the romace seems like a soap opera if not a melodrama with fairy-tale leads.

Rose: [thinking both of them will die soon] I love you, Jack.

Jack: Don't you do that, don't say your good-byes. Not yet, do you understand me?

Rose: I'm so cold.

Jack: Listen, Rose. You're gonna get out of here, you're gonna go on and you're gonna make lots of babies, and you're gonna watch them grow. You're gonna die an old... an old lady warm in her bed, not here, not this night. Not like this, do you understand me?

Rose: I can't feel my body.

Jack: Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me... it brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose. I'm thankful. You must do me this honor. Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise.

Rose: I promise.

Jack: Never let go.

Rose: I'll never let go, Jack. I'll never let go. I promise.
