I am an adult and enjoyed being introduced to women world changers I was not aware of.
I love this type of book that is geared for the young, because I can read it swiftly, then follow up afterward by finding more in depth books for adults about the individual people.
At the back of this book is a list of more women from around the world who one might want to learn about. I did that with a couple of them already and have learned a lot I did not know.
I highly recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. If I had a 9 year old or older child, especially a daughter, I would have her read it.
I would also find this a wonderful book to have my elementary school class read with an alternate about men who changed the world, so the students would have a nicely rounded knowledge of history.
Enjoy!

More strong girls, grown up!
Great for everyone. There are some amazing women in history that most have us haven't heard of. Very informative for children and adults.
Kate Schatz builds on her wonderful "Rad American Women A-Z" and takes her biographical storytelling worldwide. This will be a great resource for kids to learn more about women in parts of the world that might not get enough attention in the classroom. I was especially impressed with all of the important women featured from Africa, a continent most of us need to learn more about.
