Rather an enjoyable movie full of undisguised social commentary.

A great story...similar in some ways to Seabiscuit (another good biopic about a race horse, the book is even better).

This flick is a touching case study in how honest enthusiasm and scrappy determination (the horse - Dream Alliance and idea instigator - Jan) infects and draws others into a thrilling and rejuvenating ride...for the horse owners group, their entire working-class village and even the posh horse trainer.

Fabulous and heartwarming. The way we should treat our animals! I really thought I'd be bored but I found myself emotional (happy tears) several times throughout. Just loved it.

Such a great commentary on working-class values overcoming upper-class snobbery--not to mention the pact between humans and animals. Terribly heartwarming.

A great true story, well presented by the people who were actually involved with this delightful horse.

Interesting true story about horse breeding and racing.

An inspiring movie about following your dreams even if the naysayers want to keep you down. Recommend if you liked "Seabiscuit," "The Eighty-Dollar Champion," or feel-good movies about overcoming the odds.
