A fun, engaging, interesting read that kept my curiosity. I thought it was a great book and that the character development was believable (that's usually what I struggle to enjoy in some books). Worth the read!

Certainly a good, engaging read. You really feel for the different characters at different points and you're never quite sure who to trust. I only wish that the last five pages had been left off. The ending would have been excellent without it. That last chapter is a silly afterthought that does nothing for the plot. Bringing that one character back took it all just one step too far and the gender-stealing aspect really leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

The premise of this book is absurd and the good character development and suspense can't make up for it.

Another disappointing book in the same genre as The Couple Next Door and Gone Girl - why suddenly all these similar plots? This one was OK for the first half but disintegrated into complete nonsense by the end. A waste of time to read.

HOLY CRAP at the ending!! Book is phenomenally written and keeps you guessing all the way to the twisted, twisted ending. Gave me the chills!! Highly recommend reading it, will not be disappointed!

Romantic thriller about a woman who develops a relationship with a married man and his wife and the trouble that ensues. The story keeps you engrossed all the way until the end, until it dissolves into somewhat of a supernatural exercise, takes over, becomes it's theme, and ends in an outlandish way. Engrossing and a page turner, but ending leaves you flat.

What started out o be an interesting mystery toward the end turned into a cheap bait and switch with an idiotic ending. Unless you like improbable fantasies, this is a total waste of time. I wish I could gain back the time I wasted on this crap.

I really enjoyed the first 95% of this book as it built up intrigue and suspense. However, the much vaunted ending to this book was a waste of paper and ink. It was simply not credible and detracted from the experience of the rest of the book. Probably still worth reading, but a major let-down at the end.

No, just no. Don't do it, it's slow, it has really unattractive characters and an ending that's beyond ludicrous. I want the time I spent on this back!

Great psychological thriller with dark brooding characters. As John Connolly said: "Read it now before someone spoils the ending for you!"
