Presenting the importance that education plays globally in breaking the cycle of poverty with examples from around the world, author Stone presents us with a thoroughly documented book of individual girls from many impoverished countries.
I was gripped by both the backgrounds & experiences of the girls and their courage, perseverance and hope.
