This book follows the life of a spunky and imaginative girl named Eugenie Clark. She was discriminated against for being a woman, denied opportunities to follow her dream and study sharks, but she did it anyway, rapidly developing the public's knowledge base about sharks, and leading research and discovery of these majestic fish.
