I truly enjoyed this book...I learned so much about the many symptoms of aging and battling a disease with no cure. The author's family was amazing in support of her perseverance and fight in the daily challenges she faced while her life was deteriorating right before their eyes. Highly recommend this book for people of all ages...such a learning experience for me.
In the relatively rare category of first-person dementia memoirs, "Memory's Last Breath" offers a strongly-considered and well-researched set of reflections on family life, personhood, the state of human neuroscience, and the end of our lives.
