This is a simple and sweet story about friendship, patience and loyalty. Bear waits and waits for his special friend but nobody believes his friend will ever arrive. Bear doesn’t give up, amidst the discouragement around him. The illustrations are interesting, made mostly from cutouts, which adds a unique touch.

Very cute story about a reindeer waiting on a friend who does not appear to be coming. It turns out to be a SNAIL he's waiting for. Then the reader is thinking oh yes, of course, snails move very slowly!!!
