Add a CommentAs a "western movie lover", I have remembered and loved "Jack Bull" since 1999. I just watched again for the first time and I still believe it to be one of the best western ever. John Cusack does an amazing job.
Two men fight over whether Wyoming should become a state, meanwhile one of them is beating and maiming the other man's prized horses. It starts with maiming of two beautiful horses and there was no trailer stating that "no animals were harmed in the making of this film" (filmed in Canada). The script was written by one of Cusack's relatives. After the horses were maimed I didn't care what happened to either one of these jerks.
