Let's face it, folks - In the prime of her youth, French bombshell, Brigitte Bardot was certainly a remarkable example of tantalizing eye-candy. Yep. There's no doubt about that.

But, on the other hand - When it came to regarding Bardot as being a serious actress (who could convincingly play a character of deep, heartfelt feelings) - The truth is - She was utterly hopeless, as is clearly evident here in 1960's "La Verite".

Believe me - Bardot's attempt here at portraying intense anguish is so totally ludicrous at times that it's downright laughable in the long run.
