A young girl meets her doppelganger in a parallel world, in a book that encourages readers to look at pages upside-down, spin the book around, and discover clever details and new perspectives.

A spunky little girl walks through a portal that appears in her room one night and discovers… another version of herself, in this colorful, wordless picture book.

This wordless picture book follows a young child who chases after their cat through a reciprocal, parallel dimension. The cat enters the parallel dimension because they see the Other Cat steal their toy. The child follows and they explore the in-between space.

Beautifully illustrated wordless picture book.

This book is imaginatively crafted by a master at the top of his game, Christian Robinson. Using surreal imagery within a wordless picture book, the story has no single true interpretation. He allows the reader to use their imagination to fill in the blanks. His simple stylistic technique uses textured collage with lots of white space to create a blank canvas for the reader's imagination. Children are sure to enjoy the creative wiggle room to have fun with the little protagonist dipping in and out of wormholes and travelling through dimensions with her cat.

What an imaginative way of exploring an alternative universe! This concept is accepted in a child as young as 4 years old. The story begins with a child in bed in what can be imagined as a spaceship. Children make up stories all the time, so a wordless book forms as a template. Fun to "read".

This playful, imaginative journey into another world is perfect for young readers!
This wordless adventure follows a young girl who wakes up in the middle of the night only to see her cat enter a portal that she later discovers leads to a secret world. This secret world - where copies of ourselves are running around in some other dimension - serves as a great introduction to parallel universes in fiction for young children. In addition to the engaging colourful illustrations, readers also learn how 'perspective' and 'dimensions' impact our perception as they are required to twist and turn the physical book as the story unfolds.

Wow, surrealism in a picture book. I guess a lot of picture books could be considered surreal, but this one involves a girl and her cat wandering through different doors to different realities. I think one of the points is that no matter where she is, there are similarities with others.

This picture book is completely wordless and tells its story through bold images. I really enjoyed the collage-like art style. But it was also a pretty different story concept for a picture book - visiting other dimensions. Surreal yet enjoyable. Definitely makes for a good one-on-one storytime.
