A great picture book that tells the story of Maya Lin, an artist-architect, whose design was chosen for the Vietnam War Memorial. Dive into the artist's vision and understand why the design was chosen and what it represented. The minimalist styled illustrations add an excellent tone to the story as well. A must read for any aspiring architects.

I hope you'll pick up this book to read about the story behind the Vietnam Memorial Wall. Maya Lin was in college when she won this national contest anonymously! I used a minimalist approach and a palette inspired by nature in illustrating this book to parallel Maya Lin's style.
