Give Me Liberty
Blu-ray Disc - 2020
Medical transport driver Vic is late, but it's not his fault. Roads are closed for a protest, and no one else can shuttle his Russian grandfather and emigre friends to a funeral. The new route uproots his scheduled clients, particularly Tracy, a vibrant young woman with ALS. As the day goes from hectic to off-the-rails, their collective ride becomes a hilarious, compassionate, and intersectional portrait of American dreams.

Add a CommentA young Medical transport driver in Minnepolis has his daily route sort of highjacked by his own Elderly Russian immigrant community who are trying to get to a funeral. In the mean time, his route goes right through the Black Lives Matter protests neighborhoods where he meets a young woman and sick old man who impact his life. Chaotic, and fragmented at first but it all comes together in a way that shows how difficult times can bring out the best in us.
Couldn’t get into it
Slow at first about a medical transport bus driver driving around his Russian immigrant senior citizens & others. Not laugh out loud funny but subtle comedic interactions.
Not at all what I was expecting. This movie was a complete assault on the senses, but worth it in the end. Great story. The disabilities are real. Probably not everyone's cup of tea.
