More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani Ramos is living a simple life with her brother and father when a deadly new Terminator, a Rev-9, travels back through time to kill her. In order to survive, she joins forces with Grace, an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor. As the Rev-9 destroys everything in its path, the three are led to a T-800 from Sarah's past as their last hope.

Rated 7/10.

As a fan of the Terminator movies, I enjoyed this one. It looks like to me that this one will be the last for Arnold.

It will be interesting to see if they will produce another with the new character.

This was a good film. Not great. Not horrible. Just good. I hope it is the last in the series because they are really pushing the story. I enjoyed it at the time I was watching it but I have forgotten about it already.

Just godawful. Same old endlessly recycled crap from the other Terminator films, and it's far too long. Even the interminable, cartoonish ultraviolence is boring.

This is close to being a direct, but vastly inferior, ripoff of T2. Linda Hamilton is awful; the only good thing about this terrible flick is that it was nice to see Schwarzenegger reprising his signature role, and that he gets off one or two funny one-liners. Beyond that, watching paint dry would be more entertaining.

COME WITH ME IF YOU WAN... OH, THAT'S AS FAR AS WE GET...
or THEY HAVE ALMOST MANAGED TO CLEAR UP THE WHOLE FRANCHISE FROM EVER HAPPENING...
There was the hit list in the third film; Connor's lieutenants in the war on Skynet; that sets the frame. Once Connor is out of the way, Skynet wins, so NOW what's an unstoppable killing machine from the future to do with itself? Enter our heroine, because why does the savior of humanity need to be a white man, although she is guided by the original savior Sarah Connor after appearances from T800 himself, itself, sorry, and the new spin on the calvary in the cyborg...
Go back the the first season of SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, you get about the same effect. Now here's the sting; why didn't they just send the T800 back the first time as a full team to target each simultaneously... save us the future of films we drop from memory to
reduce the questions of who did and didn't survive.

OMG! I couldn't let this movie pass because it starts in Mexico City. Also, the new terminator is smooth as water. He moves from a killer machine to guy going through life like anyone else. I really enjoyed this terminator. He was smart, quick, and almost unstoppable. I enjoyed this movie, and I recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed all of the Terminator movies.

Linda Hamilton was a terrible actress when the first Terminator was made and she hasn't improved any since then, she just got a bit more vulgar and classless. None of the other actors were particularly good either.

Pretty stupid movie - nothing new in it, just a re-hash of the old Terminator movies with the same theme of a young girl who is going to save the humans. Stupid lines (Linda says, "I'll be back" this time). She doesn't want to have the police help because this is her job - she kills terminators. A waste of 2 hours.

You'd think after all these years of sending one terminator at a time the evil AI of the future would send a whole platoon of terminators to kill their target.

I didn't hate this entry of the Terminator franchise! Linda Hamilton and Arnold are back, so it was a welcome sight to see. There might be a one liner too many, but I thought it was a decent flick.

The movie is not awful, but the CGI is worse than Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the old film that it is supposed to be a direct sequel of (by rebooting the franchise and saying that the other films didn't happen).

The common cause for movies ending up pointless like this movie is the addition of Tencent Pictures on to the production. If you don't know, Tencent is a Chinese Corporation that buys into movies, forces bad CGI and censors for a Chinese Audience (the biggest movie market). Every big budget movie, based on popular IPs (i.e. Warcraft) that they contribute to will be a mediocre movie to Western audiences because it will censor portions of the movie that are trademarks of the franchise. They play it safe and the movie ends up being a waste of time.

This was OK. I loved the first and second movies and watched the later ones and thought they were awful. I wanted to watch this one because Arnold and Linda were in it.
If I never saw it, it would be ok. But I did see it, it was ok.

Dani Ramos: You just keep these around?

T-800: Even without a rogue AI taking over, I calculate a 74 percent chance that human civilization will collapse into barbarism. And in that eventuality, these weapons will be vital to protect my family. Also, this is Texas.

Some good quotes in IMDb already, thanks to its contributors. These are nostalgia ones:

So you're a...
- Yes. Cyberdyne Systems Model 101.
May I ask what you are?
-No.
===
Sarah: When they start to kill me, run.
-What?
I'll be back.
===
Terminator: And... I won't be back.
===
Grace: We both knew I wasn't coming back.
===
It's a Rev-9 model. You don't fight it. You run from it.
